        析赏原诗是说：江边停泊著一艘大战船，水不深，船搁浅，怎样也移不动；昨天夜里江边春水涨高了，只见那大船已如羽毛般轻轻飘浮在水面上；想到早先浅水时的想尽办法来推移战船，实在白费力气，看！现在水满了，那船不是在江心自由自在地行驶了吗？

        朱子此诗以泛舟作比喻，深含哲理。一方面可用来比喻悟道时豁然贯通的自在快乐，一方面也用来比喻行事在时势未到时的盲动无益，和时机成熟时的畅通无阻。

        又这首诗是《观书有感二首》之一首，大约作于绍兴三十二年（l162）前后，写读书治学的体会。朱熹的三传弟子王柏说：“前首言日新之功，后首言力到之效。”这首诗的前两句是叙述、描写，因为昨夜下了大雨，江边春水猛涨，所以本来搁浅的“蒙冲钜舰”，就像鸿毛那样浮了起来。后两句是议论，是对上两句哲理的揭示。当“蒙冲钜舰”因江水枯竭而搁浅的时候，多少人费尽力气推，都是枉费，哪能推得动呢？可是严冬过尽，春水方生，形势就一下改变了，从前推不动的“蒙冲钜舰”，此日在一江春水中自在航行，多轻快！这首诗给人的启迪是：别做在干岸上推船的蠢事，而应为“蒙冲钜舰”的自在航行输送一江春水。

        佛教所说的自在是指什么？

        这是个在佛经里十分宽泛的词。

        基本上就是指在这个法的范围内，具备自由的意思。
